Changes for the 2021 Type 2 American Silver Eagle include:
- A notch in the reeded edge, intended as an anti-counterfeit feature.
- New, larger date & enhanced obverse design.
- Walking Liberty designer, Adolph Alexander Weinman’s artist mark
- Entirely new Reverse Eagle design.
- Yellow straps on Mint-Sealed “Monster Boxes” of 500
- Holographic tape on tubes of 20.
