Changes for the 2021 Type 2 American Silver Eagle include:

  • A notch in the reeded edge, intended as an anti-counterfeit feature.
  • New, larger date & enhanced obverse design.
  • Walking Liberty designer, Adolph Alexander Weinman’s artist mark
  • Entirely new Reverse Eagle design.
  • Yellow straps on Mint-Sealed “Monster Boxes” of 500
  • Holographic tape on tubes of 20.
